2026 Southwest Division 2 Boys Player of the Year and All District Teams
Conner Hicks, a standout junior at Dayton Christian high school, has been named the 2025-26 Southwest District Division 2 Player of the Year.
Hicks excelled on the lanes this season, cementing his reputation as one of the elite competitors in the state. From conference play to postseason pressure, his consistency and high-ceiling performances set a benchmark for excellence in Ohio high school bowling.
The Southwestern Buckeye League Bowler of the Year maintained an overall average of 215, the second-highest mark among all Division 2 qualifiers. When the lights were brightest, Hicks delivered. His path to Player of the Year was paved with podium finishes and clutch performances.
In the four tournaments that Dayton Christian participated in consisting of 3-game sets, Hicks averaged an incredible 233. His overall tournament average of 227.21 was the best among all boys in both Division 1 and Division 2, proving he is in a class of his own regardless of school size. Conner earned 1st place All-Tournament honors with a massive 763 series at the Elk Invitational and a 692 in the SWBL Tournament. He added another ATT showing to his resume at the Boro Rolloff.
Conner captured the D2 Sectional title at Capri Lanes with a blistering 704 series, and followed that up with a strong 634 series at Districts.
